Amazon Prime week is officially here, and you know what that means — the deals are everywhere. But if you’ve followed me for a while, you already know I’m not about sharing just anything.

I like to share the things that truly earn their keep in my home — the ones that make life a little smoother, mornings a little easier, and everyday moments a little more joyful.

These are my real-life, well-loved favorites — the kind that survive sticky hands, coffee spills, and chaotic mornings with two little girls.

1. My Coffee Machine

There’s something about that first sip of coffee that sets the tone for my day. This machine completely changed my mornings — no more Starbucks runs, no more lukewarm cups. It’s fast, reliable, and makes café-style coffee that feels like a small luxury before the chaos begins.(Currently on sale for Prime!)

2. Whitening Strips

I call these my “red carpet ready” secret —

ree

even if my red carpet is preschool pickup.

As a makeup artist, a bright smile just feels like

confidence. Between all the coffee and long days,

these whitening strips help keep my smile glowing

(without sensitivity or hassle).

💄 3. Clear Organizers

If you’ve ever seen my makeup room, you know I live for organization. These clear acrylic organizers are not only pretty, but practical. They make everything easy to find — brushes, lipsticks, palettes — and make my space feel calm and functional.

🍿 4. The Snack Box

This is a mom essential.I don’t leave home without it. Between school runs, errands, and long drives, my girls are always hungry. This snack box keeps everything organized, fresh, and saves me from the mid-drive snack meltdown (you know the one).

💧 5. Electrolytes

These are my daily secret weapon. I started using electrolytes to help with energy and hydration — especially on those long, non-stop days of mom life. They keep me feeling balanced and fueled, even when I forget to drink enough water.

🍟 6. The Air Fryer

My kitchen hero.I use this air fryer at least four times a week — for reheating leftovers, quick snacks, or easy dinners. It’s hands-down one of the best purchases I’ve ever made, and every busy mom I know swears by it too.

💛 Why I Share These

These aren’t just random finds — they’re things I actually use and love. They’ve made my days run smoother, my home feel calmer, and my routines a little brighter. That’s what this season of life is about — finding simple joys that make everyday moments feel good.

So if you’re shopping Prime this week, you can find everything I mentioned (and a few other favorites) on my Amazon Storefront.

Your support means so much. Every time you shop through my links, you help me continue creating and sharing what I love — beauty, lifestyle, and real mom life, one Amazon find at a time. 💛

Let’s just be honest for a second.

There’s this weird thing that happens in your 40’s, especially when you’re a mom. One day, you

look around and realize: Wait... where did I go?

ree

You’re there, of course. Keeping everyone fed. Booking the appointments. Making the magic

happen. But somehow, it feels like you're fading a little. Like your needs, your voice, and your

presence are slipping quietly into the background noise of life.

And no one really talks about it.

No one prepares you for the moment you walk into a room and feel like the most visible invisible

person there. Or when you scroll through Instagram and see a sea of fresh-faced 20-somethings

living their best lives while you’re just trying to remember where you left your coffee. Again.

I used to perform on stage, I did this for 20+ years. I loved the spotlight, the joy, the connection.

Now? Half the time I feel like the stage has been dismantled and I’m working behind the

scenes... unpaid and exhausted.

But here’s the truth I’m slowly coming back to:

✨ I haven’t disappeared. I’ve just been buried under years of serving everyone else first.

✨It’s not selfish to want to feel seen again. It’s not shallow to want to feel sexy or powerful or

creative or excited about your life.

Those are all parts of you that still exist, they’ve just been on

pause while you’ve been doing the most important job in the world: being everything to

everyone.

So here’s what I’m doing:

• Saying yes to things that light me up (even if they don’t “make sense” to everyone else).

• Wearing the outfit I almost talked myself out of.

• Creating content that feels fun, not forced.

• Spending time alone, not to escape my family, but to reconnect with me.

• Talking to women like you who get it.

If you’ve been feeling invisible, I see you. Really see you.

You’re not too old. You’re not too late. And you’re definitely not alone.

Midlife isn’t the end of your story, it’s the part where the plot twist happens and you remember

who the main character is.

“Tell me, have you ever felt invisible in your own life? Drop a comment below or DM me. I’m

here for the real convos.”

Unfiltered convos with your midlife hype girl (that’s me).

Hey babe—welcome to the blog. Kick off your shoes, grab something cozy, and let’s get real.

This is the space where we talk about all the stuff women our age are actually going through—midlife identity shifts, mom guilt, aging weirdness, body image battles, and the quiet moments when you wonder, “Is this it?”

Spoiler: It’s not. And you’re definitely not alone.

I started this blog because I was tired of the highlight reel. Tired of pretending I had it all together while silently googling “how to feel sexy at 40” or wondering if anyone else felt invisible in their own life. So I said screw it—and decided to write the truth.

You’ll find beauty tips that don’t require 45 uninterrupted minutes (lol, what’s that?), mindset shifts that feel like a hug and a hype speech, and stories that’ll make you laugh, cry, or maybe finally exhale.

Whether you’re deep in motherhood, inching toward empty-nest status, or just trying to remember who you were before everyone needed you first—this blog is your safe, soul-filling space.

Let’s get into the real stuff. Because your magic didn’t disappear... it’s just been waiting for you to come back to her.

🖤 Melly
